The Savoy Cafe are seeking to recruit experienced Waiting Staff on a full time basis therefore these positions are not suitable for students. Working mainly weekdays the role requires that applicants are available to work weekends although the employer aims to give a weekend day off each week (however when holiday cover is required this wont be possible) No evening work is required! A meal is provided on each shift free of charge and all team members receive a share of generous tips. Barista experience would be an advantage although training will be provided with the coffee supplier. This is a fast paced and enjoyable work environment with no evening work required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and handle cash transactions
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of sanitation guidelines for food handling
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
