We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner at our church in Stockton-On-Tees. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment at all times.Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake cleaning duties according to the cleaning schedule to ensure a high standard is maintained.
- Follow safe working practices to ensure heath & safety standard are maintained.
- Be responsible for the security of the building when opening or locking up.
- Use appropriate equipment as required to fulfil cleaning requirements.
- To carry out health & Safety checks and record results as required by law.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous cleaning experience
- Be able to work alone and use initiative
- Knowledge of Health & Safety monitoring and practices
Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army.
